Volleyball

There'll be a volleyball net set up on the lawn. All skill levels welcome. If you can't spike, you can at least bump it over the net and call it strategy.

Pick your teams, play winner-stays-on, or just rally around. It's the 4th. Nobody's keeping official stats.

Tournament Time?

If enough people are into it, we might run a bracket tournament. Bragging rights on the line.

Lawn Games

Not into volleyball? That's fine. We'll have a bunch of lawn games set up around the yard. Grab a drink and find a game.

Games We'll Have

  • Cornhole: Toss bags, talk trash
  • Kan Jam: Team up and slam the disc into the can
  • Ladder Toss: Wrap bolas around the rungs for points
  • Giant Jenga: Steady hands required
  • Bocce Ball: Good for all ages
  • Horseshoes: As American as it gets
  • Spikeball: Fast and surprisingly competitive

Got a favorite lawn game that's not on the list? Bring it along.

Tips for Outdoor Fun

  • Wear sunscreen (we'll be out there for hours)
  • Comfortable shoes are a must for lawn games
  • Stay hydrated between games (water station available)
  • Bug spray will be available if the mosquitoes come out at dusk
